At no fault of their own, I was definitely disappointed to learn the main shelf goes all the way across. I thought it was 2 pieces held together so that you could use them separately or together but that's not the case.The item was easy to assemble, didn't really need the instructions and it came with all the tools required. It also came with dots to put over the metal pieces on the shelf so it doesn't stand out. Be sure to measure, the shelves don't fit standard papers/books so if that's what you're wanting then this won't work, it more so fits something similar to standard tablet size. It had a very tiny scratch on but nothing I cared about since I am putting stuff on top of it.As far as other people's concerns, the shelves lined up fine for me, the assembly was easy, the edges were fine and not chipped, and they give stickers to cover the metal pieces needed for holding the shelves together.It's a little pricey but overall does what it should. I took the far right piece off and left the screws in so that it would stand at the level I needed for the different heighth on my desk.

I got this monitor stand for my new destop computer that I just got lately. Because my desk is a little smaller than I want it to be, I got this monitor stand so I can put the monitor on this stand while I can set the keyboard under storage area. The monitor fits perfectly onto the stand, and I even put some decorations on the stand where the monitor is at so that it fits my personality. I've decided to have the storage shelf to be on the right side instead of the left side because I believe it looks better that way. I had some problem at the beginning when I was trying to put together the stand because I was doing it the wrong way which it cause the stand to be very loose and not stable; also showed the screws because it wasn't screwed tight enough. I found out later on that I was actually installing it the wrong way, so then I had to start over to make sure that all of the screws was installed correctly then tighten it with the metal screw so the stand would be tight together not showing any of the smaller screws. Overall, I think it's worth to get this stand for my monitor because it helped me save some space on my little desk.

Unfortunately my order arrived broken, the main bored was cracked directly over the middle set of screws. In addition, the surface seemed scratched up a little here and there but I continued to assemble it since this crack would be hidden. Sadly this makes for an unsteady base, but I’m lazy and was desperate for a setup, so I’m currently using it. My monitor weighs it down on one side and the shelf side sticks up about half an inch. I’m hoping that over time and with some heavy objects I can get the wood to bend back into place. Otherwise, it was an easy assembly and I loved the concept of shelves on the side.Update: The new piece has fixed my program

I desperately needed to get my home office organized and came across this while looking for ways to do that. Let me start by saying, this shelf does exactly what I needed, while looking nice at the same time. It was easy to assemble with very little effort and came packaged in a way that made sure it wasn't scratched our dinged in anyway. My only complaint would be that there were some cases where the pieces didn't tightly secure together using the fasteners included. Ultimately it didn't reduce its usability at all, though I would say that there are a couple little spots where I'd have preferred a tighter fit. Still, I wouldn't recommend against buying it at all. Overall I was very impressed with the quality.

Super easy to put together and it matches my TV stand nicely! The shelves are the perfect size for video game cases!My only complaint is that one of the end pieces on the shelves is a bit short....so theres a gap between the edge and whatever surface you may put it on. It doesn't affect the sturdiness too bad (it doesn't wobble or anything), but if you were to try and put heavier things in the shelves it may be an issue. For the price I would have preferred if the pieces were a bit more accurately measured; but it does the job for what I needed it for!

I bought this to raise my imac 21.5" computer up, and to have a bit of desktop storage. As pictured in the ad, this is the perfect size for this sized imac, although I have to move it a bit to get my SD card out of its slot, because the storage area is a bit taller.; Yes I could turn the shelf around, but for my configuration, I need it that way. If the SD card access was better it would have gotten 5 stars, but everything else works fine, and it offers lots of storage. A Good Buy!

This stand is perfect for my needs. It was easy to construct, it's nice to look at, and, most importantly, it freed up a ton of space on my desk, allowing me to optimize my work space. I keep my 27" iMac on the middle section, a small Fuji scanner on the right arm, and a desktop file container with my essential/frequently accessed files on the left. My laptop fits perfectly tucked under the stand for access when I need it – same for some of my frequently accessed supplies and tools. Lots of surface area on the stand without it being too deep and eating up valuable workspace on the top of my desk. So happy with this purchase!

The riser arrived a head of schedule and it was packaged well with no damage. Everything was in the box including 2 extra screws and an extra dowel. The dowels are metal and should last a long time. The instructions were easy to follow and assembly took about 10 minutes. It functions as stated on the product page. I have the PC on its side sitting in the middle and two 24" monitors on either side. My full size keyboard and mouse easily slide underneath the center section and I have various other office essentials under the side pieces. I thought it was a lighter color when i ordered so it doesnt exactly match my desk but it still looks good and keeps everything tucked away and organized opening up more space on my desk.
