A: It's not any better, just more expensive. You can easily make your own using peppermint oil, I also add a bit of spearmint. Just add water, an emulsifier, and the oils you like shake and spray. This product smells great, but didn't work at repelling any spiders, bugs, or mice.

The smell is quite strong and not pleasant to be near for approximately 20 - 30 minutes after application. However, it does seem to be doing the job it was purchased to do. I've not seen any of the small ants we had previously. So I can tolerate the unpleasant odor as long as it is working and keeping the ants away. And, it could just be me and my sensitivity to certain odors. You may find the odor pleasant and not problematic!
