Ridge Runner's "Woodland Reverie" Bowie Knife is grand and robust, yet teeming with subtleties and nuance - from the dramatic striped grain of the zebrawood handle to the distinctive cast metal guard. It's easy to get lost in its impressive size and build; indeed, the "Reverie" is a hulking beast with a powerful blade. Pick it up, and the Reverie's big, bad nature becomes even clearer, as it boasts a rock-solid, weighty - but not cumbersome or unwieldy - feel. And it's not just look and feel. The Reverie's full tang construction ensures that behind that size and weight is genuine, raw muscle - no "fat" or superfluous filler. In other words, the Reverie looks big and bad, feels big and bad and IS big and bad - a capable bowie in the field, around the house, on the ranch, or in its namesake "woodland." Despite its size, the "Woodland Reverie" is a pleasure to wield, thanks to impeccable balance and weight distribution and a handle that feels like it was custom tailored to your own hand. But, once again, don't get completely lost in the Reverie's size, lest you miss all the enticing subtle surprises peppered throughout. Zebrawood dazzles with its eclectic array of contrasting bands. The cast metal guard boasts a sleek, eye-catching futuristic look. Even the blade profile is one-of-a-kind. Simply put, the Reverie slashes to the beat of its own drum and is chock full of fine details you won't find in other bowies - especially not at this price. Ridge Runner's Woodland Reverie will chop, slice, hack and cleave its way through any task, and it'll look good doing it. It's the vibrant, attention-demanding piece every collection needs. Review: Best Bowie Knife for camping, hunting and a great yard and garden tool too!! - An unbelievable quality Bowie knife that can't be beat and neither can the price. I purchased a great leather sheath for this knife on desertcart that almost cost as much as the knife itself. That's how much I like this big boy. It's made tough and strong like in old school days. Beautiful wooden handle and a blade like no other. I've chopped kindlin wood for camp fires and BBQ's with this knife, filet'd fish, sliced veggies, cut and trimmed steaks and skinned deer and rabbits too!! Easy to keep sharp and clean and I go out of my way to protect the blade. Truly worthwhile and impressive in every way. I purchased this because l figured I'd regret it one day if I didn't. They ain't making 'em like this no more and I have a feeling when its gone, it'll be gone forever, my thoughts. :) Review: Cool well made knife. A steal at 22 dollars. - This was actually more of an impulse buy for me because the knife looked so cool. It's well made and has very good balance in the hand. The zebrawood handle looks great and is shaped perfectly for my hand. You can also grip the handle with your index finger on the other side of the unique fingerblade guard with your thumb on the top of blade for added control when needed. The knife came fairly sharp. The only thing I could wish for is a nice leather sheath but there may be advantages to having a nylon one that I'm not aware of.

Solid, inexpensive Bowie
Very nice for the price. I especially like the hand protector in front of the grip, it's large enough to block a wet hand from sliding along the hilt. Full tang, very thick blade. I'm not sure on how well this will hold an edge yet, but it look pretty good, lots of material to work with. Also, this is a very large Bowie, but not so large as to be useless and more of a machete. A good purchase if you don't have the money for the top end knives out there. Nylon sheath is solid enough and should work well over time.

Very sturdy, it's full tang
First I like it's full tang, when sharpened keeps a very sharp edge. Stainless and feels very good when gripped. The reason I gave four stars is because of the sheath, but for $25 bucks you can't really complain. I'll just have to find a nice leather sheath for it. Over all it's a nice knife I recommend it.

This is a knife!
I bought this to have next to the bed just in case I get some unwanted intruders. It's quite a massive blade and I have no doubt this can inflict serious damage. It appears well made, but it is made in China. It also comes with a nylon sheath which is good enough. I can't comment on the durability as I have not used it for anything yet.

Awesome Bowie knife at an affordable price
Money well spent. Has a good weight to it and is plenty sharp. I bought it as a Christmas gift and I'm seriously considering buying me one.

Good blade for the money.
I purchased this blade for a keep busy project assuming it would be junk. I was pleasantly surprised at the good quality and razor sharp edge. Keep in mind this is a Chinese blade with plenty of blemishes so if you want a display piece spend more money but if your looking for a camp or work blade this is an excellent choice.
