Very sharp hooks.

Good Hooks
Was needing new hooks for deboning. For the price I was surprised. Took one and shortened it to 4 inches. So far this season these hooks have done the job.

A little too long and tough to modify
Really well made but they are a bit too long for butchering. You can use them, but your arm spread would be more than comfortable. I shortened one, but I have a torch to heat to a bendable temp, and a grinder to re-point the cut end. Five inches is a nice length.

Great Tool
Unfortunately had to return these meat hooks. I needed them for a project and saw that they would not work for this job. The only problem was that they were too thick, and large for my needs. But thank you Amazon because I did find the product that worked!

Unique, useful tools
I purchased these for processing deer, but haven't used them for this purpose yet... However, I have used them for pulling hot turkeys off the smoker. For this, they are proven excellent! I usually use rubber insulated gloves for the task, but they're kind of a pain to thoroughly clean (nubs all over them pick up rub and such) after. These hooks, placed in neck and rear, allow easy pulling of hot turkey. And they clean easy too. Score!I'll be using them to secure "cold" deer for processing soon enough. I know they'll work fine, but have no experience to tell yet.Hope this help--good luck!

Great for grabbing meat to cut.
This does what it was designed to do. It helps you grab the meat and cut. And it's great when you need that extra leverage on certain chunks of meat.

Disappointed
Sending it back one is perfect the other 1 is not welded properly to the handle on an angle not straight and clicks wken pulled ...disappointed ..tried to put a pic in but not "allowing" amz into my files or camera wtf?
