Land Rover decided to make the original intake tube hose out of some sort of pith material, which dries out and will eventually disintegrate on every vehicle. This is an excellent upgrade that will never have to be replaced again. As you can see in the picture, the kit comes with two gaskets to seal the intake to the side of the vehicle, which replaces the foam that currently resides there. It is unclear why there are two, and the kit comes with no instructions. Realistically, only one is required to make an air tight seal.
