OMG, this unit is woefully inadequate, incredibly poor image quality. How on earth did it make it to the top of the best sellers list, and get 5 stars? I can only imagine that the previous reviewers know nothing about image quality. It also hardly detected anything that moved in front of it, apart from my hand at approx 6 inches. The night vision is very grainy indeed, my phone takes far superior images than this thing. I could go on, spend a lot more money and get one that does the job properly. I returned the item the next day for a re-fund

This is the best trail camera I have purchased. I love how it has a mount. Every other one I've used has a strap. This one has a mount allowing me to put it on a tree and since I live in front of a forest this is perfect to have to see the deer. The infrared lights are perfectly designed to give you very clear night vision for about 20 meters. The motion sensors are perfectly positioned to capture movement in a couple directions so you should get actions before they come across the camera. I absolutely am happy with this purchase. The camera has caught some very clear images. Works great! I bought this camera to check out my garden overnight to get videos of the deer that visit my garden. It shoots great, high quality video even in the dark/when its cloudy, and I'm very impressed by the durability of the camera itself. It comes with manuals in is very very easy to use, and the process to download your videos off of it is very easy as well. Overall, I am highly satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a trail camera for a great price!

I love it, gives fantastic sound and video in all weathers, seen brilliant things from water voules to woodpeckers and my cat getting up to alsorts.. Highly recommended.

Purchased this to replace a VicTsing 8MP trail camera which was damaged after filling with water and condensation after just one rainy night. This camera is much worse. Doesn't start recording until you're literally stood right in front of it although it says it has a trigger range of 65 ft. At least I managed to get some good recordings from the VicTsing on the three days it worked for and that only has a range of 49 ft. So the only recordings I had on this camera after 48 hours were both of me, standing right in front of it when trying to open it to check if it was recording anything, not even recording me as I was walking up to it, only when I was right in front of it, and this is not due to any time lapse settings. So giving up on these trail cameras.

As described, easy to set up

I just moved to the Highlands in a house next to a forest. One night I saw a deer family with a small Bambi jumping through my fence, so I thought I would try to take a few photos from them. I was waiting for hours every night, but no luck, so I decided to buy this Elepawl Wildlife Hunting Camera. I also have an Action Camera from this company, so I know they are trustful and well made little gadgets.Arrived in a small box, which was with a sticker to make sure it’s new and never been opened. Inside I found my new Hunting Camera along with a Mounting Belt, Wall mount, USB video Cable and a Quick Start Guide. User manual was also included, well-written, easy and understandable language even for not too tech-savvy people, full with illustration about the setup.Was really easy to set up, even for me who never used such a wildlife Camera before. First you need to know this model works with 8x AA battery! I loaded the 8 batteries when I first started setting it up, but then realized it doesn't require 8 to run. You can put 8 batteries in for extended run time or you can run it on 4 as well. I'm still playing around with the different settings so I can get different results. I was using single picture mode, but now I'm using the burst mode so I can get multiple pictures when the motion sensor is triggered.I've found a couple of pictures where there was no any animal on them, but something might have triggered the motion sensor. I guess it happened, because it was windy and wind gust might have triggered it, which mean that the sensor is really sensible.The housing feels sturdy and durable; it’s made from plastic. It has a weather-proof seal around the lid and 2 clips to close it. Once you open there is a few function buttons including a Menu button and also featured with a 2.4-inch screen so you can watch back everything what has been recorded. Of course you can also download this to your computer, all the recordings are stored on a SD cards with up to 32GB capacity. I haven't tried the video option yet, that will be my next mission. Picture quality is very sharp and colours are bright with 130 wide-angle lance. Infrared is sharp considering it's all in the dark. There is some motion blur, if the animal is moving fast.In overall I think this is an awesome gadget, nice to play with it and gives you so much of success feeling when you managed to take some picture or video about a wildlife animal. Value for the money works as expected. Well made and I'm very happy with the purchase. I hope this helps anyone thinking about purchasing it. I would definitely recommend it!
