It was our first crystal puzzle. We were joking around about hating it because it was a challenge to assemble. We had some really good laughs about that. So even the difficulty was fun. We did it without looking at any of the instructions. One recommendation I have is to make sure you have all the pieces before you start. You can go to the instructions website to check. I had read one review that said one was missing. So I was a little paranoid when I was having trouble finding pieces to fit that maybe one was missing. But all the pieces were there. . It is absolutely adorable and when you finally complete the finished product, you will feel so accomplished.
