The fabric does appear to be a 95% cotton, 5% spandex blend, as stated on the tag; it is a middle-weight, sturdier weave with only just enough stretch to get by, especially in the waistband.I found it to be true to size as listed in the product images - my waist is about 37", I ordered up a size to XXL (39"), and I had about 2" of play in the waist while standing straight, but it was comfortably snug while sitting and bending over. I would definitely recommend sizing up if you are between sizes; there is no elastic in the waistband, only the slightest stretch in the fabric itself.Definitely enjoyed wearing and would buy again in a different color or print! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Super Super Cute! *by N***Y on Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2024* Love, love this skirt. Got so many compliments when I wore it to a friend's birthday brunch a few weekends ago. Only issue I have with the skirt is that it's a zipper and at the top of the waist there's no latch or button to secure the zipper. OkNow I generally wear a Large or size 12. I ordered the large first then ordered the extra large and ended up keeping the extra large. I thought that the large was a little too tight around the waist and with it not having a latch or a button at the back I was worried about it unzipping so it went with the extra large, which was a little looser than I wanted around the waist but you couldn't really tell. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely skirt *by A***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2021* There is no stretch to the fabric. So if you're unsure about measurements/sizing, remember it's easier to take the waist in than it is to let it out if you get the wrong size. However, the size I got fit me fantastically. I'm 6'1" close to 250lbs and ordered the 2x. It wasn't too snug or too loose. The zipper does feel a little stiff when putting on, but that's no big deal to me. The pattern is pretty and the flowers are vibrant in person. My only issues really is that the design cuts off instead of letting the flowers flow into eachother (like on the top of the wasit) but it's still a beautiful skirt. And that the pockets are deep, but they were sewn a bit too much at the opening so I had to snip a small spot myself on each pocket. Overall a great skirt. Wore to a parade in FL and it wasn't too hot for me or uncomfortable even though the fabric is on the thicker side.
