The holsters confirms to the body and holds the pistol in place without concerns of mishaps. The trigger is protected and it has three positions you can adjust for depth in your trousers. Retention: The pistol holds secure. If you were involved in hand to hand combat scenario, the pistol would stay in place. We tested it on the mat and was pleasantly surprised on how it protected the pistol and remained in place. My pistol never moved or shifted while wearing this holster. Position: Carrying the holster in the 1-2 o'clock position was not as comfortable as carrying it in the 3-5 o'clock position.
