No cutting corners. *by I***O on July 12, 2021* Started out making soap not too long ago and used a few other soap base products. None of them can match the quality of this soap base. It's easy to use, as soap bases should be, and very clear just as advertised as long as you don't use too much mica powder. Otherwise, it has a very vague, pleasant scent that can easily fade away with the use of fragrance and essential oils. The ingredients list is much smaller than the other bases I've used, which were cheaper and much less pleasant alternatives. To me, smaller is better and easier to explain. All I have to add to the labels are the essential oils I'm using as well as the herbs, if any. Packaging was very simple, in a resealable bag so you can save the rest for another time. There was no shortage of the soap base that was packaged and came in 5 lbs as advertised, the even go as far and cutting that one sliver of soap to make sure the measurement is right. Something that would be very easy for a company to skimp on just to save a couple bucks. After using the finishing product, your skin is left feeling clean without feeling dried out. It handles coloring well, doesn't interfere with the smell, simple to use and therefore I give it a 5 star rating.
