Then customers use them to hang on their work bench or wherever needed most. I find the cordage to be more than durable for this , and has a very nice feel to it. During use, the strop is held by the lower hanging end and picked up to hold level. The top end stays hanging by the cordage. Then you lay the bevel onto the strop and press firmly while pulling away from the cutting edge. During that action, the cordage has minimal stretch and then stays super stable for the stropping action. I have not yet had one of my personal ones break. So I believe this to be of great quality at an outstanding price. The color runs true throughout as well.
