It's very soft and makes it much easier to stand in front of my sink when I'm doing dishes. It's easy to clean as well, although, I have noticed some of the yellow fibers come out occasionally and can be found on my kitchen floor. I figure it's just from my cats' claws so I'm not too worried about the durability of it.
