When it came, I followed the directions exactly, making sure the cabinet was clean and dry before placing the adhesive. Pushing the adhesive component so it was totally set against the cabinet surface, and waiting an hour at least before finishing installation (I finished installation almost two hours after applying the adhesive). That part was easy.Then, when I went to attach the rest of the design, it felt very loose and wobbly. The nuts that screw on are decorative domes, and not drilled all the way through. So you can only tighten them so much. You definitely should also use a wrench to tighten them, as just screwing them on with your fingers will not get them fully tightened. Even fully tightened, there was a significant gap between my cabinet, the metal of the holder, and the nut.I had read many reviews complaining that you have to tighten the nuts in between paper towel roll changes. I decided using a double sided tape to adhere some leftover tacky shelf liner to the back of the metal would not only close that wobbly gap, but also could hold the nuts on to the screws tighter so hopefully they wouldn't come loose with usage. I'm a firm believer in doing the job right the first time so hopefully it's as low maintenance as possible.So I gathered double sided tape, the shelf liner scrap, scissors, and the rest of the product. (See pictures and video for final result). I also had my ratchet wrench and 7mm bit for it handy still from the first, as-is installation. Then I went to work attaching all the components together. I had to clip away some of the shelf liner at the installation holes to ensure I could push the screws through the double sided tape and to use the nut. Then I popped on the whole piece. I used my ratchet wrench to fully tighten to nuts (again, you CANNOT just screw it on with your fingers, especially once the double sided tape is pushed into the screw treads). Now, not only does the whole thing feel incredibly secure, there is zero wobble against the bottom of the cabinet.It would be nice if the company lined the back of their units with foam so you wouldn't have to McGyver a solution like this. Then you could just use some plumber's tape on the screws to ensure the nut won't loosen during usage. I also think leaving the unit to wobble most likely exacerbates the loosening of the nuts. If the company foam-lined the back of the metal unit, it would make installation a lot faster. But now that I've done the job right, I expect this to be a very low maintenance holder for paper towels. And it's beautiful, with very simple lines, so it should look good in just about any kitchen. For the price, I don't mind the extra effort on my part to eliminate the wobble and ensure the nuts are fully tightened.Overall, I'm giving this a 5* rating because now that the installation is done, it seems very secure and like we'll be able to use it for years to come. Especially because the package came with an extra adhesive part, so if we end up moving or getting new cabinets, we'll be able to install it again! The mount sticks right to the bottom of the cabinet & has proven to be very sturdy. Once it is fully adhered you just attach the holder onto it by screwing in the bolts. I struggle with getting the rod that goes through the roll to actually slide into place on the mounted holder.
