I had to do a lot of trial and error (spent around 1.5 hours) to get my computer to work. Every time it was in the wrong configuration, I would hear the computer whizzing/starting up, but the screen would just stay blank. I finally got it to work in a specific configuration (crucial, timetec, apple_default_1, apple_default_2 from top slot to bottom).
