I have always had good service from ASUS Products. This laptop seems quite snappy, speedwise. It has a nice clear screen that seems to refresh quickly. It is very lightweight and only .7" thick. You can barely feel it on your lap. I don't play games so I cannot tell you how it would do, but for a kid in school or college student, I think it would be a god choice. The keyboard seems responsive and comfortable. It's not as nice as my HP elitebook, but it is also less than half the price. It connected to my wi-fi quick and easily. ### ⭐ no quality control *by M***E on January 8, 2020* I work part time from home so my laptop is gently used and not moved. I have had this computer for 13 months. 3 months after purchase the mouse pad stopped working. i sent it back. they fixed it. 2 weeks later the screen became black, the sound worked but the screen was black. i sent it back. when it was returned the screen had a green film on it making it look like you were underwater and a black gel in the corner. it also had a large corner dent. they told me on the phone that they do not fix customer caused breakage. i tried to explain that it was returned like this. no one would listed and every time they also said their computers werent working so they couldnt track the communication {at that point i recommended they switch to Dell}. I had it fixed and now a month after my warranty is up, the mouse pad has suddenly stopped again. this computer has been a nightmare. when i asked them to replace this lemon they said they only repair. I am going to throw out a $400 dollar worthless computer and i have missed a lot of work. i feel their quality control is terrible and their customer service was not helpful. DONT BUY ASUS - GARBAGE COMPUTER COMPANY.
