I bought the curvy bootcut jeans first, which are equally awesome. Bootcut jeans are generally more flattering for my build, but I decided to take a chance and try the skinny jeans too, since the bootcut ones fit so well. I also had some cute new boots I wanted to be able to wear over jeans. These are the first pair of skinny jeans that have actually looked good on me, so I'm glad I took the chanceThese are literally the best fitting jeans I've ever owned (along with the bootcut pair). I can wear them without a belt with no fear--which is particularly great because belts and curves just don't get along. In addition to the perfect fit, these jeans are super comfy and look great. These are super cute, flattering and comfortable. Somehow they manage to pull off a higher waist without looking like mom jeans. Also, ive noticed that in this brand the sizing is consistent from style to style, which I really appreciate. These babies also have a ton a stretch to them which make them very comfortable but I've learned thru experience that this also means you have to be careful not to wash or dry them on too warm of a setting or you'll get those weird run things. I am 5'4" and around 140. Unfortunately I carry my weight in more of an apple fashion. I ordered a 10 and they fit perfectly. They do stretch out slightly during the day but annoyingly so. The legs come down to the top of my feet and the rise is to just below my belly button. I purchased 2 pairs of these in the darkest blue (cant remember the name) and in black. My worry is that the black will fade despite my washing and drying on cold. Ive only washed them once and so far so good. I will update if they do fade or anything.
