This worked for our 2 45 pound dogs (border collie and red heeler). Bought a large for both of them and it fits both well. (The sizing says it would work on our 25 pound mini aussie -(NOT). It would be huge. I'll try a medium even though the measurements indicated are smaller than he is.) Quality is very good, though their long hair does get trapped in the Velcro and every so often I need to clean it out to get the coat to stay put. I also sewed a button hole where the harness goes through the coat.
