It won't last forever but if you take care of it it will last a while. Wash your hands before touching it! My hands looked clean but after setting up the stand I left black marks on the paper roll. (Surprisingly my feet didn't mark up the paper when I stood on it, but I haven't tried shoes on it yet.) The tape that comes keeping it rolled does rip up the paper when you pull it off, so be aware of that and treat it tenderly.
