It doesn't stay tucked in on the cushions where you sit, but it does a good job overall of staying fitted to the couch and providing some protection for the couch. It is easy to fit onto the couch and stays put.The bad: holes began to wear through in the cover within days of first use - and in places where it receives almost no wear (they first appeared on the back). Soon thereafter holes began to wear on the top and front at multiple places on the cover. This is a "dealbreaker" for this product as that is its intended function - to cover and protect couch.
