I really wanted something with pockets that would go with a lot of things, and also, would work with tunics and boots. I read the reviews for this product before I ordered it. Yes, I saw that people thought it was low quality and not what they wanted. But, I had hope.. like, one does with giving a cheating boyfriend a second chance... I thought things would be different with me... silly me.I received it today. Now, I agree, it doesn't look anything like the picture. The picture makes it look all plushy, luxurious, and like people would want to touch it all day. What I got in the mail today, while still very soft, vaguely close to the color in the picture, not as thick, and not as long as I'd hoped. HOWEVER, I still really like it. It isn't too bulky so it goes under coats easily, and it has big pockets that fit more than just your chap stick. So, even though it is very different than what you see in the picture (I will upload a photo of mine later), it still has a lot of redeeming qualities. Also, I am glad I listened to at least one thing in the reviews, it does run a bit small, definitely order a size up. If you want it to be longer, order two sizes up. I am thinking of getting the gray one and will test that theory myself. It is only 26" in length while the product claims is will be 30.3" in length. The vest lifts off the shoulders with the hood up.
