I ordered a size up, as so many La Isla sports bra reviewers have suggested. I wear a 38D, 38Dd or 40D, depending on brand. While the 42D fit, it was a bit large on me - not as supportive as I would have liked and I hated the fact that it wasn't padded for modesty's sake (it showed high beams, ladies!)
