No gain, actual losses of output final stage in 2.4ghz range. Measured on spectrum analyzer and very disappointed with less power on transmitter than prior changing over to these antennas. Added to control transmitter and less range real world and less response due to antennas. I did not check for SWR to verify why or the reason but bottom line, I would not recommend for use in the 2.4 ghz range nor the 5.8ghz range as they are advertised.

My ps4 was installed inside a metal av cabinet and the controller range was severely limited, certainly less than ten feet. Did some research and discovered i needed one of these cables. The modification wasn't too difficult. Just watch a YouTube video on how to disassemble the case. You'll need to remove the bottom and take out the power supply to access the antenna connection. Drilling a hole in the case side was the biggest change. I then had to purchase an extension cable with antenna mount to get the antenna outside the cabinet. Now my range is solid on the entire floor, reaching at least 25 feet with no noticeable lag or disconnects.This of course voids your warranty.

Working great with a dual band Intel 7260 mini-PCIe module. Using at 5GHz and getting about 800Mbps connection (it varies slightly but never far off 800) with my ac router. I'm very happy since that is near the theoretical max of an 802.11ac 2x2 connection and far exceeds what is needed for the remote HTPC (mythtv) to stream recordings of over the air HD broadcasts.

Love these. They came packaged very well.Shipping from China sure took a lot longer than I had expected, but the parts are perfect.Then antenna's have no problem articulating as they should. The cables on the adapters are nice a snug.The heat shrink was appropriately applied and secure. Putting these antennas onto my Hubsan 501 Radio really did help extend the range of control. I used the antennas for the 2.4 ghz control. I did use the cables for both the 2.4 and the 5.8 ghz and they work very well.

These appear to work fine, though I never actually got to fully test them in my PC. The various WiFi and Bluetooth combo cards that I bought for use in my PC never actually installed or ever worked properly. By time I tested 4 different cards and setups, I was well past the point of the return policy. I did like the ease of installation and the cable length was well suited to be run along the outer walls of the PC without running into any restrictions.

I lost my wifi antennas during a move, and couldn't get my PC to connect to my network. These antennas fit really well, and instantly I got 5 bars. My router is on my second floor, my computer is in my living room. Still 5 bars! Great speeds too.The antennas feel weighty and have a great build to them, they aren't flimsy. I can't comment on the cables that come with it because I didn't use them. I only needed the antennas.
