Hilariously bad *by U***1 on June 22, 2017* I was going to wait to review this until using it for a few weeks, but in the three days I've had it I simply must break my silence. I’ve never felt so inclined to review such a crappy item in my life. Here goes.I don't even know where to begin with this thing, so let's start with a simple pro/con list:Pro- Inexpensive- Won't give you cancerCons- Inaccurate to the point of being useless- Awful design- App is not user friendly- Could give you cancerI defected from FitBit due to their lousy customer service and inability to stand behind their products. After doing some research I decided to buy a cheaper band to tide me over until making a bigger purchase, which led me to this. I wasn’t expecting much given the price, but at the very least I wanted an attractive band that could accurately monitor my steps. By the end of the first day I could tell something was wrong because my step count was way higher than it should have been, and while that may have been a boost to my ego I knew it wasn’t true.So, I decided to do a few tests where I’d walk for a bit while counting my steps and then see what the tracker logged. Here are my results:250 (actual steps) 293 (tracker results)130 (actual) 151 (tracker)315 (actual) 366 (tracker)80 (actual) 93 (tracker)While the difference doesn’t seem to be that bad, over the course of a day all those extra steps added up and padded my step count exponentially. It didn’t end there; I also noticed bonus steps added to my commute to work. Ya know, while I was sitting in a car. While sitting in my office I chugged my arms as if I were running while scaring my coworkers who thought I was losing it, and sure enough the tracker took that as me jogging.Fitness bands live and die by accuracy. While it’s not an exact science, most higher-end models do a great job of properly tracking your steps while offering data relevant to your health. Not this thing.As for craftsmanship, within two days the rubber started pulling away from the tracker screen – within two days. And unless you’re lucky enough to have three hands, simply putting the tracker on is a pain in the neck. I understand you get what you pay for, but I can honestly say I have never purchased something so laugh-out-loud crappy.Needless to say I’ll be returning it. Thanks for reading. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ You need this watch if you have Oscar health insurance *by J***S on January 25, 2018* I've had this watch for about 8 months and I like it. It's not without cons but it does what I need it to do (and I have specific needs). So my health insurance company (Oscar) provides $1 Amazon credit when you reach your daily step goal but the trick is that you have to track your steps with Google Fit or whatever the Apple activty tracking app is (don't have Apple, don't know) which means you need to have your phone on you 24/7 which is just not possible. I wanted an activity tracker but Fitbits and other fancy watches don't sync to Google fit . My boyfriend bought me this watch on a whim to track my steps because he heard that it (through the VeryFit app) syncs to Google fit and I've discovered in turn it very accurately sends the steps to my Oscar Health app. I have tried other, nicer looking activity trackers that use the VeryFit app but they don't seem to report data the same way this one does so they are pointless to me.That being said, the charging functionality of this watch is really it's downfall. The second I see one bar of battery is gone I go running for the charger because you never know if that means you have an hour or a day's worth of charge left. I usually just put it on the charger when I shower to make sure it's fully charged at all time. It's also not very accurate at counting steps because it really just reads whenever you swing your arm but that's what all cheap activity trackers do. The band is ok but after 8 months mine is ripping where you slid the tracker in and out because it gets caught on everything (I never intentionally take the tracker out of the band but it slips out a lot further ripping the band) but I know I can just buy a new one.Overall, I'd say get this thing for the few bucks it will cost you if you want to get started in the world of activity trackers and DEFINETLEY get it if you have Oscar health insurance. ### ⭐ Absolutely trash!!! *by A***N on July 21, 2017* The clasps to hold it on your wrists aren't very secure so make sure you put it on firmly and keep and eye on it or else you will find it in the parking lot on the ground. The charger does not have a light to indicate that it is charging so you won't know unless you check your device periodically to ensure it is fully charged. The instructions for the device are very vague so I would imagine you would only get to know your device by playing with the functions and becoming more familiar with it. Overall, I got what I paid for.I left the first post because that was my honest opinion when I first retrieved my fitness tracker. However 3 days later I am retracting my statement. This product is absolutely horrible. The fitness tracker is not a secure product meant for purely active people. I went for a bike ride and the tracker fell from my wristband during the ride. I found the nearest trash can and threw my EMPTY wirst band away.
