It is extremely well made and looks much nicer than I expected it to be for the money. It does not open (says that in the specs!) but I prefer that since my gas log set is controlled outside the fireplace. The finish is flawless and is exactly as listed. It is not flat black like a wood burning stove it is an iron black and well done with no missed areas on mine. All in all exceeded my expectations at this price point. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ substantial and looks great *by M***E on January 24, 2024* I wanted a fireplace screen to dress up the hearth area. This screen is a great value at $100. I found it to be pretty sturdy, too--I think it looks great. The feet have to be put on but the product identification of parts not only names them but provides images to ensure you use the right bits in the right places. Super happy with this ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great fire screen for the money, looks terrific on my fireplace *by G***T on January 18, 2023* Easy to assemble, used sticky felt "feet" on the front legs to get the exact contact with the top of screen to top of opening. (hearth isn't flat or perfectly level). Having looked at a lot of screens here, this one was as described and a bargain. No issues with packaging or quality and the look is a very flat black, (almost on the gray side, but most wrought iron and blackened metals are not glossy black) which is as expected.
