I dumped the contents into an Ortho hose-end sprayer and applied it that way. I has to cut the top off of the Scott's spray bottle in order to do that. **Q: Does it stain concrete** A: No **Q: Will this product help restore my lawn from some brown spots back to green??** A: greg, that depends on the cause of the brown spots. Brown spots could be caused by disease, insects, animals or temperatures.
