Hey Boo Boo..... I made a Boo Boo....
I bought the smallest size because it said up to 5 ft. 9 inches..... uh....... yeah.... I should've gone the next size up. Will these work? Yeah.....? They'll work..... but they're going to look ridiculous with the metal locking mechanisms for the adjustments all the way at he bottom where the hooks are. I'm not sure why I didn't take the up to 5 ft. 9 inches into consideration since I'm 5 ft. 9 in. It's just one of those brain "bungalo's" I and most have when we don't think things through at the time. It's not a big deal though. Take that into consideration though, people. If you are the maximum height of what is specified, go one size larger if you can. As Homer Simpson says...... "DOH!" Okay, I need a Donut now......

Two hooks in back come together forming a Y. Pants in back look stupid.
I got this thinking it would disperse the weight of the pants more evenly, but the pants had other ideas. It looks fine in the mirror, but turn around and see how your back looks and you see the two hooks/straps right next to each other, making a big lousy looking fold that makes you look like a vagrant. I still end up needing a belt to keep my jeans looking normal, which was the same problem I had with the Y suspenders. And I was walking around for MONTHS looking like this without knowing. Now not only am I annoyed but I'm also angry at my friends for not saying something. Whatever, get a belt with these. I mean, unless you're the kind who walks around with your fly open coz it's "the style" or some similar bs.

Pants stay up. More comfortable than tightening my belt.
I was thrilled to find suspenders that would hold my dungarees (jeans) by the belt loops. Now my pants stay up without a hassle. It would get a fifth star if the hooks did not swivel. Swivel hooks sound good, but if the straps twist, they are harder to untwist. Instead of untwisting from a front hook up up-and-over, you must do it from the small of the back cross-piece up-and-over to the front. If you work from the front, you can't be sure it is correct because -- it swivels.Hey, I'm really pleased with the four-star design.

He likes them better than any other suspender that he has used. Could fix one flaw though.
My husband wears his suspenders every day. He uses them strenuously, lifting, and twisting and general hard labor work. He likes them better than any other suspender that he has used in the past. They last about a year before the swivel pulls through the hole. The company could fix this one flaw though. The top of the swivel post wears out and eventually pulls through the hole. Then I need to buy another pair. Maybe a washer in that area would help, or if the top of the post on the swivel were bigger, or made of harder metal?? My husband still likes them, and as long as he wears suspenders I think he will use these.

The solution for elderly men!
These are the suspenders you want to get for an elderly man with thin skin who is too easily prone to serious cuts and bruises. Conventional suspenders with the very strong, very sharp edged alligator clips were very damaging to my Darling Hubby (he's quite a few years older than me). I didn't know these existed but figured somebody must be making an alternative that didn't require sewing buttons onto Hub's pants. He loves these suspenders and I'm extremely grateful he doesn't have to fear being injured by his clothing anymore.

Strong, stretchy, smooth clips, swivel clips, adjustable straps
I bought two pair for my father and i, Stretchy but durable straps, the piece where they cross is adjustable so they can fit different shoulder widths, the clips and the springs are strong, also smooth polished metal so they dont damage your belt loops, the swivel feature and belt loop clip on these make these a must have. I landscape with my dad and we are bending over everyday, all day long and i never have to pull up my pants, but maybe re-tuck my shirt, (make sure you have a shirt long enough) They are also strong enough to hold some tools in my pockets without pants falling down. Comes in several colors too i got the tan ones and the dark grey ones. A true working mans accessory lol

Not durable
The suspenders worked great for a year, then one by one, the swivel or clasp broke. Of the 4 pairs that I bought, some with two back hooks and others with one, I have one left. I rotated between the suspenders, wearing them (almost) daily in slacks and light weight blue jeans. Disappointed.

Done
The hooks work a lot better than the clip on type. They hold my pants up and don’t come undone. Like’em!

Never come unclipped again
Excellent buy.have had clip on braces and they just keep slipping off.due to the hooks they shouldn't ever disconnect from the eyelets on trousers.they are very good quality.

excellent product
It's 'different' to have the braces hooked onto the belt loops but very convenient.Sturdy and good quality - happy to recommend it.
