Impossible to connect to my WiFi
I spent hours trying to set it up but nothing worked. I followed advice from people on here also, as following the manufacturer instructions didn't work. I eventually contacted the manufacturer customer service and that was a waste of time as they didn't read my email and misunderstood what I was asking, which was advice. They then offered to send me a new plug but I don't want waste more time so I declined and just returned it to Amazon. I purchased a TPlink Tapo Smart plug, only slightly more expensive but much better quality. I was able to set up and connect it to my WiFi and Amazon Echo in minutes.

Easy to setup.
Read the damn advert. Was expecting 2 plugs as the photos suggested this. Had I read the advert properly I wouldn't have bought this as there are cheaper multi-plug deals out there. Will cost £4 to send back so I will keep it. Installation to was easy but had to change pairing mode. Instructions were excellent so no problems. The plug works so not much else to say. So the morale of this is read the damn adverts :(

Great smart plug and fantastic customer service!
First item was damaged but was sent a next day replacement! The plug is great, really small, in-line some of the bulky square ones, and took less than a minute to set up.Works well on the Smart Home App and connects to Alexa.Coming back to buy more!

would not pair with Smartlife app
I tried every possible method of connecting this plug without success. I am experienced at using and setting up such devices but this plug would simply not pair with the Smartlife app. I went as far as installing the app onto a phone that i knew was on my network at 2.4ghz as the app insists it needs to be and tried every option for pairing in the app and the instructions without success. I would retun this item but for £8 i can't be arsed wasting any more time on it.

Finally works with Alexa app,
Finally got this to work with Alexa...You have to enable home smart skills in Alexa and then add Smart Life, this will discover all the devices in the house on the same network and add them into the Alexa app..Still a bit of a long winded way to do it all, could be simpler..

No power failure memory function
This works, but for me there is the quite major problem that there is no power failure memory function - so if there is a power interruption for whatever reason, it does NOT remember the state it was in before the power interruption, and always is set to on when the power restores. For this reason, I would not use this for anything important, though it is ok just for lighting, for example. It is cheap, and I guess this is one of the reasons why.

Ok to start with but soon failed.
Worked OK for 4 weeks then failed. The unit still switches via built in switch or via Alexa but does not disconnect supply. Obviously the internal relay contacts have failed. Used to switch ice maker, <5 amp load. It was easy to set up, pity it didn’t last. Will try another.
