Not quite. More like in-between light and all-season. *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2018* I ordered the "lightweight"; version of this, and I wanted SO badly to love it. It's wonderfully fluffy, and nice to snuggle up with this in my duvet cover. Unfortunately, it's a bit too warm. And, I don't normally "sleep hot" I actually tend to sleep a little cold. Maybe the fact that the house is on 69°-72°F has something to do with it? I do know that the temperature regulation under this isn't as good at my Sötvedel "cooler" down comforter from IKEA. that might be related to slight difference in fill weight; they have the same percentage of down. I wish there were fill power ratings for these...I'd say this is between "lightweight"; and "all-season." I bought the "all-season" for cooler months (it was $15 at the time, so why not), so I'll cross-compare it with my heavier "all-season" for cooler months...Something I did just notice is that the fill boxes are baffled. As in, they are baffle boxes- three dimensional, which helps the down breathe so warm air circulates and insulates more evenly. If they were sewn straight through, there would be cold spots at every seam. Good job, Pinzon! But be sure and fluff this every week or so, because I have noticed the filling migrating from the center out to the edges.Also note that the "dry clean only" thing is absurd, and FALSE. Down comforters ARE machine washable, if you have a sufficiently large washer. The trick is to use half the amount of detergent you normally would, and make sure it's a gentle/mild detergent. When drying, fold 6 or more tennis balls into the comforter as you shove it into the dryer. Be sure you dry it thoroughly, and reposition the tennis balls; take it out periodically, shake it, and check for damp clumps. Once those are all gone, you're good. Machine washing this will also soften the fabric, and get rid of the crinkling sound. It's just a fluffy white cloud at this point. Also, be sure you don't use fabric softener or dryer sheets! The chemicals could ruin the down. The tennis balls will actually soften it for you. And you can use a small amount of bleach in the wash cycle.Another thing worth noting is DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU READ THE DIMENSIONS. You need to measure your duvet cover, and then compare it to the stated measurements in the product description. A 2" total margin is acceptable, but any larger and it will be noticeable. I, like many others, am struggling with excess fabric, because the queen is 86"x86", while my duvet cover is 90"x90". I tried to shrink my cover, but it didn't help much. Most queen duvet covers are about the size of mine, so be aware that you may have some extra space with this in it.Another point I have to make is that you can prevent shifting by sewing corner ties on the inside corners of your cover, using muslin tape, or sturdy ribbon. That way, you can utilize the corner loops of the comforter.UPDATE: while I still don't define this as entirely "lightweight," it turns out my duvet cover poses an issue with heat, as well. It is rather thick, and tightly woven.UPDATE 2: The "all season" seems a bit warmer than stated, and I definitely can't use it during Missouri warm and hot months. I sometimes overheat under it, and then check the thermostat, and it's on, like, 67F. With the house between 69-72F in summer, using this comforter is not realistic. What a difference a few degrees make!UPDATE 3: I should have measured this when I got it, because it's the wrong size. It is measuring at 72"x76". It must have shrunk a little in the wash, but it can't possibly have shrunk a full 10"+. Much of this information will also hold for other variants, but I want to be clear because Amazon intermingles reviews for different sizes and weights.There have been so many unanswered questions about the construction of this comforter. So I've taken pictures of all the attached tags (see photos), as well as the sticker on the box.To summarize:The shipping box for the comforter is 18"x18"x10". The comforter comes in a zip-up cover, fairly compressed. When you take it out and shake it up, it fills nicely. The down is enclosed in baffles, so that the down won't accumulate at one end of the comforter after a while--it stays evenly distributed.The composition of the comforter contents is 75% duck down / 25 water fowl feathersThe cover of the comforter is 100% cottonThe comforter is manufactured in China by The Sea Feather Lu'An Down Products Company LtdThe dimensions of the comforter are 102"x86"The instructions assert: Do not wash/bleach/tumble dry/iron. Dry clean only. That said, these directions are merely to protect the seller from complaints. Down comforters are washable, you just need to be careful when you wash (and dry) them to ensure the comforter returns to the previous puffy state.On the whole, it's a nice comforter and it's an absolute steal at the current sale price! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent comforter with two minor drawbacks. *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2018* Unlike the other reviews, I was not given this product for free.I sleep hot, and already use  Pinzon 300-Thread-Count Percale Sheet Set - Full, Platinum , so when my previous comforter was ruined in the wash, despite it saying it was washer and dryer friendly, I decided to see if they also made a comforter. I saw this one was just released, and was skeptical as the only reviews were from people who received the product for free, but decided to take a chance as Amazon has a wonderful return policy, and because it was quite inexpensive compared to other down filled 100% cotton shell comforters.It does indeed breathe quite well, I slept through the night without waking up sweating, and without waking up cold either, which is perfect. For people who are cold matured I'd suggest the heavyweight version. I did deduct a star because the feel of it is like a hotel comforter, that kind of plastic-like crinkly feeling.
