The New Version of helicopter. The inner gyro with function of dual rate and head lock, which designed for helicopters specially. Gyro version adopts AVCS ( Angular Vector Control System ), which makes the function of head lock more outstanding and steady. AVCS system: Since rudder trim changes caused by wind and other meteorological changes, and varieties of helicopter attitude changes are automatically canceled, tail rudder operation becomes easy, making it perfect for 3D flight. -Intelligent R/C System -Full Scale Remote Control -360' Precise Directional Movement -Smooth Hovering Performance -Long Battery Life Upgrade METAL Airframe

Good thing it came with spare blades!
I have flown an RC chinook before but this one is different. If you are flying for the first time do not fly indoors! LOL. My blades broke on the first crash landing. I would fly this one only outdoors and away from trees! I am glad that this model comes with spare blades and you can also order more spares on Amazon. As long as parts exist for it I am happy with it. I am still learning to fly it....its not as easy as I thought. It also has some kind of time delay I do not understand. When you turn it on, it will not go. I have to wait a while for some odd reason then it will go. Very strange. But its a huge monster and alloy design is impressive.....more impressive is the light show it comes with! If you fly it outside at night....do not be surprised if people report a UFO sighting! WOW!

Many flaws
I just got mine today (7-6-11) and charge it for at least 2hrs. There is a red/green indicator on the charger which is confusing because it only took an hour for the red to turn to green so i was guessing it was charged. Ill give you the pros and cons.PROS - It flys pretty high and far, it can carry a small hd video camera, its stable if its not windy, about 10min flight time, the transmitter feels alright and a lot of lights for night flying (i think its to much and drains the battery quicker)CONS - The original battery that came with it was faulty because the connection to the heli circuit partially melted. The blades are plastic and break very easily. You almost need zero wind to enjoy this heli or the wind will take it. Its kind of rear heavy so you might need to balance it by adding a little bit of weight in the front. The battery was hard to change.Overall it is fun for entry level. I woud not buy this item again because you get what you pay for. CHEAP parts. Spend your RC heli eslse where. I just bought the Esky Belt Cp Cx (outdoor heli). Buy indoor helicopters for better fun, easier training, and less headache.

Super Sky King, Are you kidding me?
Update:7/30/14Spent another $25 for parts so that I could repair the gear with the missing teeth.Put it all back together, parts fit well and everything looked okay. While taking it apart, again I see how easily the frame that holds everything together is a very soft alloy. You can bend it easily with your fingers with very little pressure. And I had to bend it because it was so out of shape.Okay, so lets fly it or at least try.Hey we have take off but oops, landed on the ground just a bit hard but at least I landed it. Okay lets take off... What the heck is that sound, wont get off the ground. Yep here we go again, the frame is bent once again so now the gears are out of alignment and the teeth just got ripped off by the nice power motor.Only thing I can say it there must be two versions of the Heli. A good one based on some peoples review and then a cheap one which most people including myself seem to have received. All I can say is if you buy this Super Alloyless Heli, you deserve to loose your money like I did my money.By the way, I bought an MJX F645 F45 and should recieve today. Right now I am using my V911 which was 1/3 the price (yea I know its smaller by 1/3) and I am having a ball. This little bad boy kills everything out there and takes a real beating before having to replace anything. With extra batteries I must have already flown 30 hours in about 2 weeks. In 30 hours play time only replace one prop.I hope everyone else has better luck with this if they choose to buy.Be sure to read all the reviews before making your choice.Thought this was a great item for the price. Well, in this case I got what I pad for. Actually less than what I paid for.Alloy King What. Isn't alloy supposed to me a type of metal? And that which is Alloy is soft and bends ridiculously easy.Item is assembled of cheap parts. Example: Main frame that holds it altogether bends really easy which then causes problems. My frame bent after the first crash (not a real bad crash either) which then started to rub against the gears that spin the two main rotors. Maybe the design of the frame is poor leading the alloy to bend easy. This leads to the next problem. After the second not so bad crash I started to hear a click. I thought (what the heck) it was the frame or something rubbing against the gears. Couldn't find the issue until the noise started to get louder. So then I started to look real good at the gears (which are made a cheap plastic) and notice some of the teeth on the gear were missing.Okay so now I understand why the clicking and why now I have the two trims turned all the way to the left. This is of course until more teeth broke which I knew was going to happen.Bottom line, sometimes a low price means cheap which then isn't a great price because now after only two weeks (and waiting for days with no wind) I can't fly it. I mean come on I flew this thing 4 times for approx 6minutes and didn't even get a chance to get the hang of this bad boy. I had a smaller one from another vendor which lasted two years before the batteries wouldn't take a charge any more. I thought going bigger would be better, but not true with this one. Even the slightest wind I couldn't get the thing to go forward. So now one rotor is working great which is causing the heli to spin in one direction because the rotor connected to the gear with missing teeth won't get enough speed to equal the other.Hopefully I can find metal gears for this heli. See the plastic rotors are supposed to break first. They didn't the gear broke first.Be sure before buying any of these to ask simple questions like are the gears plastic or metal. Plastic gears brake, then you are just out of luck. This is the first negative review I have had to write. And normally no issue, because when something is bad or not working like it's supposed to be Amazon takes care of it with no hassles at all. This being a heli and I did use it I'll have to suck it up as my fault and not try to get a new one.But this is a kind of item I won't buy online anymore just so that I can see it up front an know that it's made of good durable parts so I don't waste anymore money. There goes 104 Bucks flown away.

Lower rotor shaft slipping out of the box - Not flight capable
The helicopter arrived very quickly and my son and I were eager for a test. Removed it from the box, charged the battery, and before attempting our first take off, I held the helicopter in one hand and throttled her up. Well, that's when I realized I got a dud. The shaft for the lower rotor slips at the main gear. Therefore, the lower rotor spins at a greatly reduced speed that no amount of trim adjustment can compensate for. Due to the slippage, there's not enough lift to get the chopper off the ground anyway. I contacted the seller immediately and repackaged the item. I'm hoping the seller issues an RGA quickly and gets an exchange going and pays for return shipping. As this is the first business day since I received the unit and contacted the seller I don't have any information yet and don't expect to this soon. If this gets resolved and I get a working replacement, I'm hoping to be able to write a more favorable review. Perhaps this is just a rare lemon?

alloy sky king rc heli
The sky king rc heli is not a good quality heli. I have approx six helis of this type and have not had any damage with the blades and I have had many crashes with the others. I have had approx 4 flights with this heli and have broken or chipped blades every time. I am out of blades. This is not a quality product.

Think we got a bad one.
One of the propellers is broken and the hellicopter loses its charge really quick.Make sure you look at the dimensions. It's pretty big (definitely need to only use outside).

not easy to fly!
don't have the space to launch it. may need a lot of practice to operate this
