I tried turning the cap a little bit, am I supposed to turn the cap or just take it out of its packaging?.** A: "It is for absorbing odors, it is not supposed to release a scent. The 'Lavender' and 'Citrus' etc. are referring to the colors but the unit does not actually release a scent..."?! That is ludicrous. Then why does the title say "...Assorted Scents of Lavender or Citrus..."? If they indeed have no scent, I would return them immediately for violating their clearly stated description. **Q: Can you refill these discs? In other words can you unscrew the top and refill with baking soda once the scent and deodorizing effect wears off?** A: they are in a little pouch, but no I don't think they can be refilled, but for your info they last for a very very long time. I love these little disks mine are used in a diaper pail that I use for my dogs reusable potty pads and you would never know they were in the room. And when I need to change one I put the pouch in the wash with the potty pads and the odor is gone instantly. I have used these for more then 5 years and have bought only about 3 packs so far, like I said they really last a long time. **Q: What are the dimensions of the individual disks?** A: Exactly 2 inches in diameter by 11/16 inch thick.
