Review: Good safety item for climbing, Solid and functional - This is a well-made climbing equipment that played a huge role in my last climb. If I use ATC when I grab the rope in panic, I wouldn't be here to tell you this story. It will allow for a proper rappel descent by applying more or less pressure to the handle, neither completely depressing nor completely releasing the handle that will only make you immobile. We all make mistakes, but in climbing a mistake can be deadly. This is an extra barrier of safety, recommend.

This is a well-made climbing equipment that played a huge role in my last climb. If I use ATC when I grab the rope in panic, I wouldn't be here to tell you this story. Very easy to use and very clear instructions

### ⭐ Device mechanism was backwards

I've used a PETZL Stop Descender for rappelling and wanted a stop descender. This device worked backwards. When you squeeze the handle it stopped the rope, and if you released the handle you were able to move. It's supposed to be the other way around. Rope also does not thread well through mechanism. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
