As an ex-electronics engineer I wanted to check the design and quality of these before putting them in the ceiling as there are a lot of cheap and nasty (and potentially dangerous) import units on the market. So couldn't resist looking inside one before installation. Got to say I'm pretty impressed, the nice little switchmode PSU, circuit is well laid out with an internal (non replaceable) fuse and a fair bit of filtering, proper primary-secondary isolation and capacitors that are higher temp rated. Overall looks like a well designed and good quality product for the price. My only criticism is minor, the screw terminals are very small so you will struggle if your lighting wiring needs several units in parallel or (as suggested in the description) you want to wire several LED fittings to the same driver module ( I didn’t do this, the modules are cheap enough that I decided to keep the original setup in my house of one driver/transformer per fitting and in some areas I want to use 6.5w LED bulbs anyway) Needless to say they work well and the flickering and buzzing of my LED bulbs is completely eliminated. I had a big TV interference problem with an older driver near to (within 1 metre of) my indoor antenna so I replaced it (the driver) with one of these.
