The pattern is beautiful, someone in a review said it's "smudgy" but I love it! I tie the strap in a knot to wear over my shoulder, and untie it while at events. You can "see" through it if you hold it up to the sun, but it's just fabric with a black thin lining sewn inside, seeking through it doesnt make it feel cheapy, or too thin.
