Khombu Men’s Waterproof Leather Hiking Boots

These boots are almost perfect! I love them so much I bought another pair, after having found these at a Costco some time ago. The only downside is how their just a bit smaller than the size listed. I see after all this time that hasn't changed, but at least these are great for work and hiking.

Bought these boots because the price for my size was only $20 & they are waterproof leather, and I figured I'd just sell them if they didn't fit properly. I have fairly high arches and I wear between a size 9 1/2 & 10, so I was pretty surprised when I ordered a 10 that it fit well. Won't be selling or returning these boots, they're great for hiking, which is exactly what I wanted them for.

I bought these for my husband to wear to a special outdoor event so he wouldn't be embarrassed by his old shabby boots. We thought he'd only wear them for special things like that, thinking they wouldn't be good enough quality to wear often, but we were wrong. He wears them a lot, they have good grip for ice and snow, and are warm. They still look good, are easy to clean, and they're light-weight too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I bought a pair of these for my son in and the Flume 2 Hiking boots for me, in size 9. My shoe size is almost 9 but my foot is a bit wide toward the toes. Anyway, I usually have trouble getting boots to fit. Size 9 is usually a bit tight.These were tighter than the Flume 2 but fit snugly. The Flume 2 fit a little looser than these.

These were great boots, BUT they are not durable enough. My husband is a roofer and wears these shoes everyday. They lasted 1 month before the sole started to crack and become compromised. The whole sole to the boot is worn completely down, creating and opening into the inside of the bottom of the boot. The boots were comfortable and fit well, just not long lasting. If the work is less demanding perhaps they would last longer. Great price too.

The boots are definitely waterproof as it seems that the brown cover coating is impermeable as if sprayed on. Not a dye 'into' the leather as you would usually find on the more common leather hikers. So far they seem to still breathe okay, which was my immediate concern. I wear either 81/2 or 9 so I ordered 9 to accommodate thicker socks in the dead of winter for upstate New York. I will see if the treads last more than one season.

Great boots for the price. Maybe 1/2 size small but OK. I use them for work on a construction site. I wouldn't hike with them because they are a little bit small and would blacken my toenails after a steep descent.

Better than expected for the price I paid. My husband thinks they are great and said they are very comfortable. Time will tell but so far so good. We are both pleased with purchase and would buy them again.
