Thankfully you can't tell how bad the stitching is from a distance but up close it is obvious. For the price I paid, I think it was too expensive for a poorly sewn pair of gloves. I needed them for Halloween so I couldn't return them for a new pair. These would be beautiful gloves but I think I received a defective pair by accident. I used these gloves for a Regency Era costume, and they fit perfectly past my elbows and fit my small hands comfortably. The color was a shiny silky black like the product picture advertised. The gloves were on the thicker side but they weren't ultra thick either. They breathed nicely.
