They didn’t feel like they would fall apart. We unfortunately couldn’t reach the ceiling of our venue so has to kind of improvise, but they were cute nonetheless. The red/black/star Mickey banner is like a felt material and you need to string it through. You also have to put the tassels together, although it comes with directions (for some reason my family spaced them out on 3 strings instead of close together on one string, but that was still fine). There were also medium sized Mickey balls (pictured are the large), and yellow balls but we ran out of places to put them since we weren’t able to use the ceiling as originally planned.
