It is supposed to be like being exposed to sunlight. It fits nicely on my bathroom counter and I turn it on while I'm taking a bath or at the sink getting ready for the day. It has a lot of interesting options that makes it stand out from other similar products:- It is compact and about the size and shape of a tablet, but lighter. It comes with a stand that is adjustable so you can control the angle of the light. Can be used while traveling because it is so compact- Adjustable intensity of the light if you happen to be sensitive to bright lights- blue light instead of white, though I don't know the use of this yet.- timer so the light can be used and turns off on its own after a set amount of time. I believe you can also set it to go off at a certain time.- controls are easy to use and understand so its not a complicated thing.- Its an LED light so its not drawing a huge amount of power but its packed with lumens (10,000, which is what was recommended by my therapist)So far I do believe it is helping me. My husband also used it this winter.
