This camera might work great in other areas, but as a baby monitor, it is terrible. If your baby wakes up crying, you’ll get a silent notification that there’s movement in the room and that’s it. It won’t wake you up if you’re asleep and you will not automatically hear baby like with a traditional monitor. I have an iPhone 7. Maybe this is just a problem with the app but parents should be aware before buying this. I’m returning and getting the infant optics monitor.Update: the company reached out to me and offered me $30 to take down this review. Keep that in mind when reading all the good reviews.

I like to try new product because it usually integrated latest technology and cost efficiency. This monitor works with wifi so I can easily share access with my family members through the app. The video quality is good. You need to change the angle by rotating/shifting to get good night vision. Once you figure it out then just plug it in and enjoy a peace of mind knowing your child is safe and sound.

I just have my newborn for a month. This camera is perfect to keep my eye on the baby. The motion detect is great. If the baby makes noise or movement, it will show notifications on my smart phone. I used to run back and forward to check on my baby when he is sleeping. Thanks to this, my jobs are much more easier. It is easy to set up as long as you have a good wifi connection. The night vision is very clear so that I can see my baby clear in the dark room without turning the light on. I think that this is an amazing camera with an affordable price. There are two functions that I don’t really utilize frequently. Those are audio and temperature sensor. I might use it later to talk to my son and moniter the room temperature. This should be a good way to keep my son away from smart phone or tablet. Highly recommended!!!

I picked because it has lullabies and temperature sensor monitoring features which most of wireless cameras do not have, these additional features are really good as a baby monitor, if it turns out good, I will purchase another camera to add in our living room. I also like that the night vision works automatically.Pros:- Temperature alerts work as advertised, you can set the threshold you want.- Night vision automatically- Easy to install step by step, but I did figure it out the password should not include any special characters like and & -One connected, everything is set and controlled from phone App, it's really easy for us.Cons: There is no a dedicated monitor to use as a nanny cam which could be more easier.

I've had this installed in my son's room for about 24 hours now, and I am impressed. Not only does it have night vision (I can tell when his eyes are open and when they aren't in the middle of the night), you can even watch it when you leave wifi range. So, I can clean my yard up while my son is napping and it will alert me when he is moving, and will let me listen as well. My favorite part about this monitor is that along with being able to speak to your child from afar, you can also choose which lullaby you want to soothe them.

2019.8.12Stopped working after half a year, there is a flashing red light, and a beeping noise. cannot connect.Previous reviewI bought this monitor because I am curious what my dog does when I am away, and also a way for my girlfriend to communicate with the dog when even when she is abroad.This product has a large view angle, cute design, temperature monitor, and a great night view. The voice message has two seconds delay, but it is fine.

The reviews online didn’t seem bad, but after purchasing we noticed the reviews for the app were horrendous. And we saw why! Right out of the box this device would not connect to our 2.4 WiFi. I was practically standing on top of the router and couldn’t manage a connection. Just for the heck of it, I took the device to my neighbor’s house to see if it could connect to there WiFi, same issue. I’m amazed this is an Amazon Choice item considering the consistency issues people have been having.

I wish i could give this 0 stars!We bought this in January 2019 and it was amazing! I loved that we could work it from our phone and I could even access it from work! You can communicate thru it and move the monitor to see different parts of the room.The first part of May 2019 (5 months post purchase) the night vision went out. We have in plugged tried to reset and done just about everything we can think of to get it to work. Now our baby monitor is useless during the night and frankly a piece of trash!I find it super convenient that it stops working right after the return period ends.I would not recommend this product to anyone!
