They may not do enough for you to justify the price, but with a 30 day money back guarantee, it's worth it to try them.Background: I took the color blindness test on EnChroma's website a few times and was deemed a "moderate deutan" -- moderate red-green deficiency. Personally I describe myself as affected most by red-green, but also have some trouble distinguishing similar shades/tones of other colors, and generally get the sense that I perceive far fewer colors than others.Usage: I wear sunglasses very frequently when outside or driving so I thought the EnChroma glasses would be worth a try. I wore them on several occasions and did my best to follow their recommended usage -- wear them for a while to let your vision adjust and don't flip the glasses up and down to see if there is a difference. The lighting conditions during a few of my tests of the glasses were a bit on the cloudy / partly cloudy side. EnChroma says results are more dramatic in bright lighting conditions. I did wear them once in very full sun and did not think that the results were dramatically different. But that's not to say they wouldn't be for others.The results: You will definitely notice an effect right when you put the glasses on. At first they give everything a very slight rose-colored hue, and within a short time things seem to 'pop' a fair amount. It's kind of like turning up the saturation on an image and making everything more vivid. Did it correct my color deficiencies? Maybe a little. I did take notice of colors more than I normally do, but that could have just been because it was early spring (flowers starting to bloom) and I was hyper focused on evaluating the glasses. I did not notice a significant difference in my ability to differentiate colors, especially when looking at things that were far away (example: being able to name the colors of a rack of kayaks in the distance). My primary goal with the glasses was to fix the differentiation problem, which didn't get solved enough for me to warrant the cost of the glasses. If there had been a strong improvement I would have bought them through EnChroma directly because the price is much lower than on Amazon.My only gripe with the product itself is that the case is almost too small for the size of the glasses. The case needs to be a little bit longer and wider to accommodate the outer envelope of the folded glasses. I was afraid I was going to snap it shut on them every time I put them away.I'm not sure why some other choose to give this product 1 star when it didn't work well for them (as it did not for me). The glasses are well constructed and there is definitely some effect no matter who is wearing them (I had a couple of non-CVD people try them). EnChroma is also very clear in their literature that the glasses have varying degrees of effectiveness for each user, and there is a no questions asked 30 day trial period.
