It does stick to clothes a little bit, but after a washing or two it comes off. I just suggest if it gets on clothes making sure it doesn't have any still on it before putting the clothes in the dryer. The beads that come with it does come off of the slime easily and can make a mess, but sweeps up easily. So still a little messy, but an easy clean up kind of mess.
