I've always had some trouble decide whether to use my case with the pop socket or without. When I use the pop socket my phone is easier to hold and I can set it up so I dont have to hold it when watching YouTube. But I cant use my wireless charger and putting it in my pocket feels weird with that large circle sticking out. I was getting fed up cuz I couldnt find any pop sockets that you can just take off easily and put back on. I got one of those flatter metal ring holders but I still couldnt use my wireless charger. But ahh at long last I found this sweet device. When I want to hold it or have it lean on its own, I just stuck on the suction cup and it worked perfectly. I could take it off with minimal effort and use my wireless charger whenever I wanted. It seemed like the perfect situation. But...I work housekeeping and I had left the suction cup on my phone. I take my phone out of my back pocket quite a few times a day to skip songs or change playlists and then at the end of the day, I realized it wasnt on my phone. I was heart broken. I had no idea when it had fallen off but I was pretty sure it had happened when I was hastily putting it back in my pocket and it must've caught or something. I had only had it a few days and already lost it. I'm chalking it up to a combination of user error and maybe the suction cup being slightly weaker than I thought it was. But honestly I dont know why there aren't more of these out there. I was hesitant at first to pay more than $5 for something like that but it felt worth it for those first few days before it disappeared. I needed a way to better handle my new iPhone XS Max and considered getting a pop ring or a similar product. What I didn’t like about the other products is that they all require you to permanently fix the pop ring to your cell phone or phone case using 3M adhesive. I change my phone cases often and I did not want to invest $10 in a phone ring that would be permanently affixed to my phone case. Affixing a phone ring permanently to my cell phone without the use of a case was not an Option. This little device is very handy because it uses suction cups to temporarily affix the phone ring to my cell phone or my phone case, Which is ideal for someone that changes cases.
