Then I got it. These are lined slippers/shoes meant to be worn without socks, similar to shearling slippers. If you intend to wear socks, size up to accommodate them. Also, if you are a half size, round up.For me, the fit is very good. The construction is good and these are a good value.I will be using them in the winter for those times I need to do quick chores on the snowy deck, etc.They are just what I need. I bought a pair for myself for when I go out in the backyard at night to walk the dogs in the rain and snow, but don't want to put on shoes (or socks) with my pajamas and coat! They are easily sturdy enough to wear out all day, but I wear them without socks around the house and for walks now because they are so comfortable. I've also gotten a pair for my adult son to walk his dogs. He LOVES them also.
