Since I like my robes roomy that’s what I got. It fits like a small. So that’s the one star ding. I could easily have gotten a large if I wanted a bit more room. Sleeve length is perfect, overall length on me is about 4” above my ankle. Would have liked it to be just a bit longer, down to my ankle, ( as shown in the Amazon photo- that model must be short!) and maybe a large would have done that. It is a beautiful robe, though. The purple color is rich and vibrant, I love the super soft waffle texture and the satin trim on collar and cuffs. And it is very warm! I’m sitting in my 68 degree home and I’m very toasty! Unlike wrap robes with tie belts, the zip up adds zero extra bulk in front/ at waist, which is something I always hated with thick plush robes, that and they don’t stay closed when you sit.
