I’m 5’5 and weigh 145. I ordered a large and returned it because I thought it was too snug, but then I like to wear my clothes big. The extra-large was long, but that’s okay by me. **Q: What is the length of the jacket?** A: I am 5’4” and it comes to right below my knees **Q: What conditions apply and whats the return policy?** A: if it’s a 3rd party seller, as alpine north is, you’d best check with that company re its return policy prior to submitting your amazon order. while amazon is flexible re accepting its own returns, 3rd party sellers are less so. **Q: How do you wash the coat if the fur does not come off? If you put it in dryer doesn’t that ruin the fur?** A: I haven't dried mine yet but was planning to half dry it in the dryer with low heat and then leave it to air dry with a final fluff in the dryer for 10 mins. The length was exactly what I was looking for and the extra-large hood is very stylish. I only wish the pockets were a bit deeper. This coat has only two fairly shallow flap pockets without a zipper and there are no side slash pockets. There are zippers on the sleeves to make room for a sweater underneath, and other elevated details, so it's odd to me they skimped on the pockets. Otherwise I'm very pleased. The coat is super warm and comfortable. ETA - upgrading to 5 stars. Now that it's freezing cold in NYC, this coat is a rock star. It's warm, perfect fit, comfortable, and the hood is worth ten stars. And, it looks great.
