Because of the silicon base the bowl stays on the worktop without sliding around. I have made an 8ozs Victoria sandwich mixture in it using a hand whisk. My old mixing bowl was wide at the bottom and consequently it was harder to cream the fat & sugar. The shape of this bowl keeps the ingredients in a more contained space so mixing was much easier. ### ⭐⭐ MISLEADING DIMENTIONS *by S***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 May 2019* I WANTED THIS AS A REPLACEMENT MIXING BOWL FOR MY 1969 KENWOOD CHEFETTE AS THEY DONT RECOGNISE THE MODEL. THE DIMENTIONS WERE LISTED AS 13.2CM X 16CM X 16.2CM BUT IT IS NOWHERE NEAR THIS SIZE.
