The smell of the shampoo is a bit strong at first but you get used to it. I could totally feel the difference a day after I used it. My hair was so dry, I thought I had too much stress because my hair was everywhere and it was very embarrassing. I found out by my doctor that I have hypothyroidism and some of the symptoms are hair loss and dry hair. After two weeks using the whole set everyday my hair is so beautiful again. I was so sad and depressed about the dryness of my hair and scalp but Ryoe Shampoo has helped me so much to recuperate and see my beautiful hair. I love how it is so natural and feels so clean after each rinse. I love the smell on my hair and it is just amazing!! I love it!!

I will never buy a different brand again. This is amazing. The comb is awesome and really cut down or almost eliminated my dandruff. I also love the smell and texture of the shampoo. Though I am used to a more obvious lather, the shampoo works so that you slowly massage into your scalp and let it rest on it for about a minute or two and use water during to keep lathering it in. I also love the treatment mask. I use this righ after shampoo and conditioning. This product leaves my hair smelling amazing( I love ginseng and herbal smells--it is not a sweet flowery smell btw more like mint or ginger would smell) soft, shiny. I have thick, wavy, color treated hair. I have spent thousands or dollars on all kinds of non salon and salon product. Listen to me people, this is the BEST! Get this! You will not be disapointed!!

So, I've actually been using this whole system on and off now for about 3+ years. When I stumbled upon this great deal for all 3 products, PLUS a brush to help comb it through, I had to purchase it. The reason being is that this was an extremely great price, considering I usually purchase this at H-Mart or my local Korean grocery stores. And it's much more than this for just the shampoo and conditioner alone when you buy it from other places where I live.But now for the actual product review itself: It's simply amazing-ness captured into bottles. I can understand how some may not particularly enjoy the smell of it. It's definitely got a distinct smell to it that some may not appreciate. However, what you're smelling are all the natural Korean botanicals inside. This is what really makes the difference in healing the damage to your hair. If you've ever been inside a Korean apothecary, this is exactly what it would smell like, plus some floral notes. But anyway, I think it smells wonderful and I know this way that it's actually doing something great (and natural) to my hair.You will notice that over time, once your hair heals, that you will use less and less conditioner. This is because the shampoo is healing your hair follicles from the inside out. It's literally such an amazing product. Like I said previously, it's seriously some good stuff. My fine hair also doesn't stay oily from too much conditioner, deep conditioner, etc.And of course, the added brush to this set just made the perfect end to all this! It's like I'm getting a spa treatment every time I enter the shower. I actually look forward to it!! It really helps stimulate the scalp and it completely got rid of any dandruff that I was having at the time. The whole reason that I use this shampoo is to correct the very heavy damage that I consistently put on it.Anyways, if you've managed to get this far through my review, THANK YOU! But seriously, buy this product. I don't think you will regret it.

The set came packaged exactly as shown. I like that the bottles have a pump on top and a stopper for travel. I used the shampoo and conditioner for the first time this morning. The shampoo felt very nice. It sort of melted into my hair. The conditioner is not too thick and not too thin. The weirdest thing about this product is the smell. When I first smelled it from the bottle it smelled exactly like those bottled drinks with the ginseng root inside. Horrible. But after I rubbed it in my hair with the warm water it suddenly smelled like flowers. Bizarre, but nice. My hair was not overly dry today like it usually is and also not weighed down. I will keep using this and see what happens.

The fragrance mentioned in the reviews makes it seem worse than it is, in my opinion. Shampoo has strongest scent and it's literally just herbal. Not in a bad way just not your average fruity scent most hair products have. I have natural curly hair and this worked great to moisturize and condition my hair. The mask is great hair is less tangly and I use the conditioner as a leave on and it works amazing. Doesn't leave my thin curly hair feeling heavy, very light weight. Great value for money liter size shampoo and conditioner for $15! Usually you pay $15 for a single liter of one or the other.

Hi guys, Please read this as its most up to date. I have very oily that gets really hot and a fair amount of dandruff hair i got this product because it says it combats oily hair by cooling down the scalp. The first few times i could definetly see a improvement on my hair health and it made it look very nice visibly. However The more and more i used it the more my hair reacted to it. After i used it, it would really dry out my hair, id use it before id go to bed and the next morning my hair would be sucked dry and very itchy with alot of dandruff. And when i used the damage treatment cream after taking a shower and it would just make my hair really slimy and too weighed down. I decided to return it as the product didnt work as stated (atleast for me).

The brush is the star of the show in conjunction to the set. I'm a black female 22 with dry and usually stiff hair. The brush changed everything. After brushing my scalp and after my hair is bouncy and retains the curls so much. I've always used the Ryoe Korean Herbal Shampoo set, but the real game changer is the scalp brush while using these.

Love this! My hair is super soft and the scent isn’t too strong. I’ve tried the anti hair loss (dark marronish bottle) and it had a very strong ginseng scent. This isn’t like that, the scent is light and feminine. My hair is super soft and manageable. I can use the rinse and the treatment and my hair doesn’t get oily or greasy. Which is amaaazing because my hair usually gets oily the same day of using conditioner.
