I thought the quliting details were nice and the gold accents were nice but not garish. I got it to wear in our family photos and it photographed nicely. And the pockets zip shut! This is sort of huge for me because I'm a mom chasing after toddlers and the zip closure means the difference for me losing my phone and keys or not.The fit, however, is a bit awkward. It fit through the body well and the stretchy panels on the sides are pretty accommodating, but I found the arm holes a bit tight. I was only wearing a long sleeve cotton tee under it so I made it work but definitely wouldn't be able to layer this over a knit sweater. Also, the bust area was TIGHT. I am not particularly chesty but zipping the vest all the way up was super uncomfortable. Maybe sizing up would have helped?
