I tried many things to try to recuperate, but after a month I still wasn't feeling like myself at all. Enter the liver pill experiment! Within just a few days of starting these, I was finally able to resume my normal workouts without feeling absolutely drained afterwards. My workout recovery has increased so that I can workout every day again. I've been taking 2 pills three times daily rather than taking 6 pills all at once. That's mainly because it feels harsh on the stomach to take the full dosage at once. I also purchased the Ancestral Supplements brand of liver pills for comparison. These are the only 2 brands I could find that source their beef liver from New Zealand. For those not aware, NZ has the highest quality and safety standards in the world for grass-fed beef. This minimizes any risk of contamination and provides higher nutrient density. Antler Farms and Ancestral Supllements both have the same pill size, dosage, and ingredient sourcing. However, the Ancestral Supplements pills have a plastic smell to them due to the plastic material used for the bottle. I prefer the Antler Farms pills, which have a mild unctuous liver smell. My dog seems to prefer this one as well.
