I had started to only buy my readers at bargain stores, which meant sacrificing quality and style in favor of the practical. I use the clear frames as my daily use and switch it up with the other color options if I want to match to an outfit.This set is very affordable, breaking down to less than $3 a pair. And it's much higher quality. I've had the set for about 3 months and all pairs have remained intact and, for some reason, I haven't lost a single pair yet (fingers crossed that I didn't just jinx myself). The frames are solid, ever-so-slightly flexible plastic which prevents me from snapping rims if I get too vigorous while cleaning the lenses.They also have flex hinges, which make for a comfortable fit and have, so far, prevented me from snapping any arms off. This also has helped them to keep their shape. I wear my glasses on my head when not in use and the standard hinged glasses will stretch out over time and then end up falling off my head if I look up or bend over.
