They were here on vacation, so I bought this and hung it from a sturdy branch. They loved climbing it. All three were on it at once, a great Photo! It appears to be very sturdy, the rope is light weight but very thick so they can grab it good. the plastic feels sturdy. It is made with some thought for climbing, groves in the plastic so they can hold on. I would buy it again in a second! time will tell how it will hold up. But, my thought is it is made well. My daughters, 4 and 5 y/o, can climb to the top w/o any fear of the rope coming apart. They have been climbing on this rope since they were 2 and 3 y/o. Each rung is solid, i've tested it out and feel confident in the rated weight of 220lbs, i am 145-150lbs. This is their second rope. Does water sit in the disks after it rains?** A: No they don’t keep any water **Q: How does this attach to tree?** A: No the climbing rope most usually attaches to a slack line.
